A workbench in Trenton, New Jersey — and a longer table since.
Zalkari began in 2018, not in a boardroom, but at a workbench in Trenton, New Jersey — with a simple frustration. Too often, fine jewelry asked people to pay for a name rather than see the craftsmanship behind it; to trust a logo rather than the stone itself. We set out to do it differently: source honestly, price fairly, and let the work speak for itself.
From that idea came a small collection of hand-finished pieces, sold directly to customers who wanted proof, not just promises. We built Zalkari around lab-grown diamonds and moissanite because brilliance shouldn't require compromise — on ethics, on clarity, or on cost. What started as a handful of orders has grown into a house trusted by over 50,000 customers, across our own site and major marketplaces alike.
We are still, at heart, the same workbench in Trenton. We've just set a longer table.
